Apparatus and Materials Needed:

Materials Needed: Sulphic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide, Common salt, Sodium Carbonade, Water and 5 similiar pots of plants

Apparatus Needed: Measuring Cylinder

Experimental Procedure Setup:

1) Plant 5 pots of plants on 5 pots
2) Place them at the same location and conditions
3) Place the plants in different chemical solutions
4) Observe the pots of plants for two weeks
5) Record down the conditions of the plant regularly

Independent Variable: The type of chemical used to water the plants.

Dependent Variable: The condition of the plant after two weeks.

Controlled Variables (Constants):

1) The amount of chemical used in each pot.
2) The size of the plant used.
3) The location where the plants are kept.
